A glass cleaning machine is a specialized equipment that cleans and dries the surface of glass before deep processing processes such as mirror making, vacuum coating, tempering, hot bending, and hollow glass lamination. The glass cleaning machine mainly consists of a transmission system, brushing, rinsing with clean water, pure water rinsing, cold and hot air drying, and an electrical control system. In daily life, special attention should be paid to the maintenance and upkeep of the cleaning machine.

A glass cleaning machine is a specialized equipment that cleans and dries the surface of glass before deep processing processes such as mirror making,vacuum coating,tempering,hot bending,and hollow glass lamination.The glass cleaning machine mainly consists of a transmission system,brushing,rinsing with clean water,pure water rinsing,cold and hot air drying,and an electrical control system.In daily life,special attention should be paid to the maintenance and upkeep of the cleaning machine.


Lubrication of cleaning machine:To prevent gear necrosis caused by excessive wear of the machine,the cleaning machine must be properly lubricated.The glass coating process requires a very high level of cleanliness for the glass,and does not allow a small amount of lubricating oil to enter the cleaning area.Therefore,grease with good mechanical stability and adhesion should be selected.The disc brush of the BENTELER cleaning machine adopts reciprocating rotation,wheel docking,no bearings,and does not require lubrication.At the same time,the two ends of the conveying roller are equipped with water lubrication and single-sided sealed bearings,which can effectively avoid pollution.We focus on lubricating the transmission chain,helical gears,and transmission shaft.


①Use plastic cloth to isolate the parts that need lubrication from the cleaning area to avoid grease contamination.


②Lubricating the joint surface between the chain,gears,transmission shaft,chain rollers,and chain plates.


③The transmission chain and roller conveyor should be lubricated evenly.


④Wipe off excess grease with a clean cotton cloth.


⑤The calibration of the conveyor roller conveyor is carried out by the cleaning machine using a glass clamping method.The lower roller conveyor is fixed,and the height of the upper roller conveyor can be adjusted to ensure even force on the glass and smooth transportation.The lower roller conveyor is driven by a transmission shaft and gear system,and it is necessary to regularly check the bearings and the horizontal and vertical levels.The upper roller conveyor is fixed by two water lubricated plastic bearings at both ends and can rotate freely.Due to the easy wear and increased clearance of plastic bearings after a period of use,the two ends of the upper roller conveyor are unbalanced,making it easy for the glass raw material to form a deviation in the cleaning machine.For the upper roller conveyor,we add fixed end block clamps and regularly measure height changes,corresponding to calibration or replacement of bearings,to adjust the clamping force of the rollers.


⑥Adjusting the height of the disc brush.The entrance cleaning machine mainly cleans the surface of the original glass sheet through three rows of 132 disc brushes,and adds liquid polishing agent to ensure effective polishing of the glass surface and remove stubborn stains.To achieve effective rolling friction on the glass surface,the brush tip height is generally set 1.5 millimeters below the surface of the glass sheet.As the bristles of the disc brush wear out,it is necessary to regularly lower the height of the disc brush to ensure cleaning quality.


⑦Cleaning of water storage tanks and drain pans.The inlet cleaning machine adopts a three-level water quality gradual cleaning and recycling method.There are 5 water tanks and corresponding water collection trays located at the lower part of the conveyor to store cleaning water.Due to the contamination of the water itself while cleaning the glass,some polishing agents and other pollutants are usually gradually deposited in the water storage tank.Regular flushing and cleaning are required to ensure the cleanliness of the water quality.


⑧Smooth polishing agent and spray pipe.The inlet cleaning machine uses aluminum or cerium oxide aqueous solution as a polishing agent,which is added to the rolling process of the disc brush through the water spray pipe between the upper roller tracks.Due to the use of solid aqueous solution polishing agents,excessive concentration can easily cause nozzle blockage.When the polishing agent nozzle is observed to be blocked during use,it should be promptly unblocked and the concentration of the diluted polishing agent should be adjusted.


To clean the polishing agent and spray pipe,follow the following steps.


①Dismantle the blocking plate of the cleaning machine,raise the upper roller conveyor of the cleaning machine,and turn off the power and water supply valve.


②Loosen the fixing bolts at both ends of the nozzle and remove it.


③Use a high-pressure water gun to inject pure water from the inlet of the nozzle into the nozzle to form water pressure.Observe the water output of each nozzle and use a paper clip to clear it.


④Clean the nozzle thoroughly,install it back in its original position,tighten the bolts,and ensure that the nozzle direction remains unchanged before disassembly and cleaning.


⑤The cleaning and adjustment of the wind knife drying area.The last water tank of the cleaning machine is filled with high-purity water that has been heated(at a temperature of around 45℃).Therefore,water stains attached to the surface of the glass substrate can be blown away and evaporated under the strong wind of the wind knife after entering the drying area.


The blade of the wind knife forms a certain acute angle with the plane where the glass original is located.Every time the wind knife is disassembled or its position is changed,attention should be paid to measuring its angle and keeping it unchanged.


①Clean up glass debris,labels,paper clips and other dirt in the dry area,and use a clean cotton cloth to wipe the components such as the air knife and roller conveyor to ensure cleanliness.


②Remove the primary filter plate and secondary filter bag used by the fan,blow out the dust inside with compressed air in the opposite direction,check for any damage or blockage,and replace them regularly.


③Use a saw blade to probe into the blade and check if there are any debris such as filter bag fibers blocking the blade.


Through years of production practice,we have come to realize that as long as the inlet cleaning machine is regularly and carefully maintained according to the above procedures,under normal process conditions,the cleaning effect of the glass original sheet can be greatly guaranteed,and the quality of coated glass products can be guaranteed to be stable.
